Headless CMS

Fully Integrated CMS as a Platform for Media Service and Online Catalog

The integrated headless CMS is the platform for the media service and online catalog. The CMS has direct access to all data in the PIM and MAM system. HTML pages for a convenient web interface are generated on the basis of customer-specific branded templates and style sheets. This gives authorized business partners, national companies and internal employees read-only access to product information, images, documents and videos.

Function Overview

Layout control

The CMS can be used to create customized templates. The layouts can be created by an agency and implemented and adapted in the CMS without restrictions. Device-neutral templates and output-specific style sheets are defined for the output. This enables optimal display on desktops, smartphones and tablets with different resolutions and screen sizes.

External libraries can be integrated into the CMS for design purposes. HTML templates, Java Script and CSS files are saved as separate files in the crossbase database and can be easily edited or adapted using any text or HTML editor.

Central functions

The headless CMS can be used to manage any number of domains, web projects and microsites. The content structure can be flexibly structured using language and country releases. Integration into the overall solution allows links between the online catalog and media service to be evaluated dynamically.

Individual areas can be protected via a login and even individual images, documents or videos can be made available under authorization control.
